The Roundhouse Motel has seen some recent changes with upgrades being carried out in most of the Motels 27 units. As property owners, having had a 24 year association within the Motel industry ,we would like to think we are doing something right for our guests. Our business name was chosen as a means of identifying with Peterborough and its very popular tourist attraction the Steamtown Heritage Rail Centre, along with the Railways Historic Roundhouse and Heritage listed Turntable.
We have a variety of accommodation that is suited to most travellers needs. All our units have Ensuite facilities, Tea and coffee, Refrigerator, Digital TV , Queen beds, Electric blankets, Airconditioning, and Wi-Fi
With 27 Motel Units we are able to cater for families in our 7 Poolside family units, single or double accommodation in our 5 Poolside deluxe units, 8 standard or 5 economy units. Also available is a Disabled Unit and a luxury Spa unit. All units are serviced daily and care is taken to assure a comfortable and friendly stay. Having spacious grounds allows for off street parking for most types of vehicles including work vehicles and Tour Buses. Our licensed dining room seats 44 and is open from 6pm Monday to Saturday for meals. Breakfast is served daily as required.
Located just 500 meters from the main road allows for quiet accommodation yet convenient enough for a short walk into town. Whilst visiting take the time to visit Peterboroughs major tourist attraction Steamtown along with other must see places like The Burg the Motorcycle Museum and Magnetic Hill.
