South West Rocks Surf Life Saving Club is located 25 minutes from Kempsey, The club was formed in 1919. Their volunteer members are the core of the club and are dedicated to patrolling and keeping their beaches safe.
They are represented at Surf Sports carnivals in a variety of events from Nippers to surf boat rowing. In addition to their competitive side, the club provides a variety of training for accredited Surf Life Saving awards. The Surf Club also operates a Bar which is open to the public from 3pm till late Thursday through Sunday and the Surf Club Bistro is open 5.30pm – 8.30pm each night that the bar is open.
